Wibs Bread is one of the oldest brands of bread-a ready to eat food and so easily available and yes at times are all sold out by the end of the evening. A must have on every breakfast table and for those unexpected guests.
Sometimes I store it out and yet it keeps so soft and fresh. You can use in in so many ways.It is very reasonable priced too.It comes in 800 gram, 400 gram loaves and even small half loaves are available.
I love its fresh baked smell and its taste.I enjoy Wibs fresh bread with butter, fried eggs, coconut chutney, jam, sauce cheese or with veg. or non-veg. filling for breakfast, or a snack, and kids love it as a dry lunch for it is very satisfying- a variety of sandwitches to enjoy.
I make plain toast too. Some, I trim the edges away and toast further until firm, then coarsely grind and use as fresh home made bread crumbs. I use the slices of larger loaves for French Toast and bread pudding too.I also cut out large circles of this bread and make my own Pizza with various toppings on it .
It cuts down so much of your cooking/preparation time. It is so handy to make easy and quick rectangular samosas-just dry roll out the bread slices with a rolling pin, fill with any filling and shallow fry with minimum oil.
Wibs has got its own version of healthy bread with Wibs Brown Breads. It can be safely stored out for as far as three days which makes it ideal for a long journey too.
