This was some time back when me and a couple of my friends wanted to meet up and one of us suggested Wimpy’s. I knew it was one of those popular joints in the west, but never knew it existed in bangalore. Coming to the point; This place lacks a fundamental factor of successful business : Quality. The place was huge (and empty), I was quite excited to try their stuff out. I asked for a some of their specials, nope they didn’t have it. ok. finally it made sense to ask them what they had. They had burgers. wow! Ordered for burgers, large fries and Coke. We were given a token number and were asked to wait for a while. 5 mins. 10, 15 mins. whoa. there is no one else in the place. finally we get it. Burgers looked lifeless, large fries there were totally 13.5 fries nothing more. Coke was perfect (they couldn’t have screwed up this one). When I complained they said thats how their stuff is. sure enough, I took a bite left the rest in the Trash, walked out, never to come back again. It is painful to see how these guys are screwing up Wimpy’s’s brand image. Such a big place, good location, what else do they want to run good business.
