Another option for internet access through cable internet is the WIN cable service which is predominantly active in the suburbs of Bandra Khar Santacruz areas. Connection is installed in about a day or two. Installation costs are about 3500/- one time. Access costs are about 1000/ p.m. to 2500/ qtly. (Quick current status : 04-04-01..Very poor speeds for last two days and all I get from them is reassurances that they are upgrading
Service is just about passable.One of the worst service providers and very reluctant to address genuine complaints. Mr. Harwani and one Mr. Chandan are the chief guys in charge here but thats all they do..CHARGE.. with no access and service worth mentioning. Speeds are nothing much to write home about. Service is on a trial and error basis.I have just recieved my login name and password after innumerous reminders and complaints.Connection always goes out of service occassionaly during the day due to upgrading of their equipment or so they claim.
With no sense of resposibility and a gone to the dogs attitude I sincerely do not reccomend them and and hope no one gets bitten by their callousness.
Many gullible folks like me have fallen prey to their non existent services.
