Windows 10 was officially launched on July 29th but it was already available as a testing version through the Windows Insider Programs. And I did join the program at the start of it but left it very soon as the builds were too unusable.
With the official windows 10 release Microsoft has done a great job. I was enthusiastic about how the new OS would perform after a lot of development and testing. I was delighted to know that it is much smoother and responsive than Windows 7 or Windows 8/8.1 hence I started to use it.
There are lots of new features in the new OS like a brand new start menu which is amazing, there are universal apps by which you can do the same work in any Windows 10 device. Also the new settings me u is revamped and is now more productive. The OS performs fluidly most of the time except in few cases because it still has some bugs to go.
There are some driver issues and compatibility issues after upgrading but this can be solved with a clean install of the OS.
Microsoft has released the November Update of the OS and it has got a lot of bug fixes and stability improvements and also some major US changes.
Overall I am quite happy with my experience with Windows 10 since 6 months and I would advise everyone to upgrade since it is free for one year for existing windows 7 and 8.1 users.
