Microsoft introduced beautiful tiles UI in this . Actually Windows 8.1 is the latest version of Windows 8, which was a very unstable version and had a lot of bugs .
Windows 8.1 is stable and bug free and compatible with tablets .:)
Note: You may find the live tiles and the metro UI different and complex but give it some time you will find it interesting .
