Windows 8 which was released after much fanfare no doubtedly caught my attention too since I was always Loyal to Windows ever since I started using the PC. I have used Win 97, ME, XP, 7 Home Basic and Premium but this one - Windows 8 is completely New from all the above mentioned OS.
It is just amazing. What made it even more interesting was the Price. I got it at 1, 999 where as those who had a PC after March last year would have got it for just 699/- That was amazing isn’t it?
When I installed it, it was a cake walk. Since I am an MCA, I did not face any trouble with regards to installation. Though some features in my Desktop were disabled, many got retrieved by installing suitable support software later.
The Live Tiles is really amazing. I just liked it. The UI was even more good. It is very easy to use though initially even I did struggle a bit with regards to toggling between the screens. What was icing on the cake was that I use a Nokia Lumia Windows Phone and it gets easily compatible with this OS and IE10 makes my Browsing really at Lightning Speed.
Overall, I would say, it is value for money!
