Windows Vista is a the cool new operating system by Microsoft after a long time...after the windows XP..
Its simple and great to use....MS enhanced the existing good features of XP and added better features and innovations to move forward. Its really a new start. Vista gives you the interface and the ease of use of a MAC and the great diverse platform of windows.. I liked it...
It has direct X 10 capabilities which makes it grt for gamers... Its good as an XP replacement in India...comes preloaded in most of laptops these days which is a good way to promote Genuine software...
I use ubuntu 8 and vista basic which are I think best OS for basic home users in India...i use no pirate softwares although I go for piracy(peer sharing :) ) in case of media files...
Acc to me MS did right and made four versions of Vista for users to choose from acc to their requirements and budget.. you can neways tweak the OS and add third-party software to make vista basic work like business or premium(i hav already enabled aero interface on my vista basic :-)
Contrary to most people’s beleif Vista runs 98 % of the top 100 software used by PC users around the world!! So go for vista...neways have to ...cuz XP is gone..
