The book "WINGS OF FIRE" is An Autobiography of Dr.Abdul Kalam.The book includes the story about A.P.J kalam’s early life and his work in Indian space research and his missile experiments.
It is the story of a boy from a poor family who went on to become success man in missile programs and later became the president of Indian.
When I was in ninth(9th) standard, there was a chapter called "Wings of Fire" in second language.I surprised and inspired by reading that chapter but hadn’t read complete story which was not given in chapter so I decided and motivated myself to read complete story of the book in Kannada version("Agniya Rekkegalu") translated by’Jayaprakash Putturu’.
I read that book in kannada as well as in English language also.This is a very nice and knowledgeable book.This book is totally ignites young minds by giving self confidence, motivation, dedication, purpose of life etc.so I would like to request everyone that all should and must read this book.
