It used to be a great service a few years back but as they have grown, they have not been able to maintain the same level of service. Their drivers do not turn up on time and the customer service only gives promises that the taxi will reach in the ’next few minutes’. Last month I had booked a cab to go the airport.
I got an SMS with the driver’s number. However, when he did not turn up, I called the driver. To my horror he said that he is not the one who will pick me up, but instead I should call the customer service and arrange another cab for myself. After arguing with the customer service, they arranged another one for me and I managed to reach the airport just in time.
This other guy was expecting that I should pay him above the meter fare because he obviously thought that he has done me a favour for dropping me in time! Even today, I had arranged for a cab so that my wife could go to the railway station. The cab arrived only after a few follow-ups and had there been no buffer time accounted into the planning, my wife would have missed the train.
I just hope they will get their act together while they are still in the lead, otherwise it will not be too long before some other operator steps in and beat them at their own game.
