What should have been a 300 page book has been long extended to 500. Pages and pages of unwanted description on each characters feelings and thoughts.
The plot is inserted between these unwanted portions. The basic plot is not of the miraculous twist or mind bending type, yet the author attempts to build the story to create such a theme. Doesnt work out. The suspense and the mystery the author tends to build up and reveal at the last was easily guessable.
The English and the flow was good. Thank God! I was able to finish the book. I generally feel books should have some useful content and teachings, like in Micheal Crichton or Dan Brown books, apart from the fictitious story line.
I have tried so far two books of David Baldacci, this one and the simple truth. Both of em doesnt seem to attract me. These kind of books doesnt need a lot of research on the background to write. Its just an unattractive imaginative content. My verdict: Better search for another book
