Pros(for freshers):
Good only if you DO NOT join as a WIMSian and are given training in any of the technologies like DBA, Network etc. but many get in to some stupid domains like HELPDESK! etc( I really wonder why they hire BE/BCA for doing that Helpdesk job!)
GSMC, Mysore and some of the client location environments offer excellent learning.
Cons
Pathetic Middle management.
"Highly Employee Unfriendly" - It looks at you just as another hardware or software’resource’
No Mercy and DONT CARE attitude followed while allotment of projects, work locations by paying super-less compensation(covered later)
Policies are there for name same(hardly few managers allow you to make use of those privileges listed in them giving excuses that the BU is not doing well and all nonsense)
Worst compensation. Well, if you send someone to place like Mumbai/Bangalore etc, how would you expect to survive in mere 12k?.
Again - POLICIES! My blood boils down when I state this fact. Which is the worst among all the other industries.
