A little wiser

Came across a nice book for light reading after a long time.

With an attractive Dark Pink cover it starts with the narration of Sudha Murty ji as a person and then unfolds her long travel experiences in remote areas as well as to the cities as a teacher and a social worker.

She explains the importance of being grounded no matter what height you may reach in your life.

"Wise and Otherwise" is a book in which Sudha Murty shares her experience of dealing with different people as a head of Infosys Foundation, some needy, some greedy, simple, overconfident.

It is not meant for any particular generation.

It teaches the lessons of life in a very light mood , with a dash of humor , doesnt loss the line of sight.

Its a must read for everyone be it a novice or a seasoned reader.

It shows the teaching skills of the writer.

It describes even the most difficult situation with ease.

The book is a compiled set of small stories with a beautiful conclusion drawn at the end of each story.

It describes that honesty , humility, love , respect , care , forgiveness, cunningness is not a property of any particular class it is the attitude of the person that inculcates these .

Go for it!
