This ISP sucks! I mean really bad. I am a freelance web developer and as a result I require internet connectivity all the time, at least 85-90% of the time. But these guys at Wishnet Support are so selfish, illiterate, greedy and lethargic. They look and smell unprofessional as if they have set up this shop for some "dhandabaaz" business (as we call in Bengali) and earn some cash from it. They are not interested in our concern, they are just interested in whether they are successful in disconnecting lines and saving some energy and bill! I always get errors like "Request Timed Out" (they are so habituated that they have given this error a custom SHORT FORM- "RTO"!! Can you believe it?"
I also get huge ping losses and sometimes even huge latency- around 100-120ms. Thats really bad and is almost like using a Mumbai connection in Kolkata. You will not suffer losses but will still have slow net connection.
One more experience I got- the higher package you sign up for, the more disconnections you suffer. Right now I am on a 512kbps connection and manage to get 80% connectivity. Earlier I was on 2mbps connection and it suffered disconnections for almost 2 weeks in a month!
I am switching to Alliance Broadband after all this. Had been a terribly shocked customer for 11 months. Its all over now. I am quitting this disaster. A typical example of how devil people in this generation can steal quick money from customers.
