I started reading this book and I was very upset. I kept on reading even though, I thought Anne Rice had sounded like such a great author. I still continued to read on. I was very annoyed with the way everything is described. I wanted to get to the juicy parts and here she was rambling about an old building for 4 paragraphs. As I read on, I quickly came to love the book. The characters are well thought out. Actually coming alive (Anne Rice uses her descriptive nature in a very good way here)!

The plot is so well thought out and you can never quite guess what will happen next. It keeps you on your toes and throws in some sex to boot!

I recommend this book to anyone who likes almost any type of genre.
