KIMS Hospital should be called KILLS

I had a terrible experience at KIMS hospital - the hospital killed my mother. What else can I say. My mother who had vomitings and severe body ache was taken to KIMS (Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences) in Hyderabad.  They atteneded to her immediately and gave her two injections, one a pain killer and one to control the vomitings. At that time ECG and Blood test were carried out and both were normal.

The blood pressure was 110/80. She was given drips and by the time the drips were finished, say in about three to four hours the blood pressure dropped to around 70/40. By then only the duty doctors were there, who gave her dopomen, and asked us to admit her. We were waiting there the whole night, and they said the blood pressure would improve slowly.

The duty doctors did nothing but looking at the BP once in a while. By morning, she was alright and spoke to me normally, though she appeared drousy. they said she is just feeling sleepy. Within an hour, they said the BP is almost normal and she will be discharged. When I finished the formalities and returned after 10 minutes, I saw a group of doctors around her. I asked them what had happened, one young girl, just came to me and said, she had multiple organ failure and her liver, lungs and kidneys are not functioning.

They said some infection has spread all over suddenly. No reason what so ever given. Then there was panic all around and nobody attended to her, after we called some of the doctors we knew in other hospitals, they shifted her to ICU and she was immediately put on ventilator and dialasys.

She never recovered. The person who went to the hospital walking came back dead. I am left with my father, who is unable to come out of the shock.

the most surprising thing is they say it could be due to urinary infection, or creatin levels, which we havent been checking, but just 15 days prior to the incident, she had a complete health check up done, and everythin was normal. How did this happen

The doctors were unfriendly and when we asked what was happening they said we can shift her to another hospital. Only time they spoke to us was to recommend a medicine which would cost 6 lakhs, which we had to get from outside. otherwise they were not available for any sort of discussion or advice.

Can any doctor please tell me what went wrong. Who is to be blamed?
