Battle over the Dress Code for North-East Girls..?

Certainly no one has no right and nothing to do with what one wears because we have no concern being animals and not social human being anymore. WHOSOEVER believes in community living will not mind my words and CAN Animals...? Ah..! What double standards we have b’coz we easily get distracted over unwarranted petty kiss issues of Rakhi Sawant, Shilpa Shetty, Bipasha Basu etc.  If in our society no one has no concern whatsoever why we then suddenly become so concerned when a young married girl with only her under wears on protests at Rajkot… or in the case of Deepika Moudgill who sits along with her kids on protest outside her in-laws’ house at Vasant Kunj, New Delhi?

The sincere and ‘brotherly’ advice of an IPS Officer from Arunachal Pradesh, Mr. Robin Hibu, DCP (West), New Delhi to the North-East girl students who sought admission in Delhi University; has uncombed many feathers and is being received fierce reactions; may I ask WHY?   And by the way, in favour of learned Mr. Robin… why don’t those parents come ahead who comes screaming over the eve-teasing and/or unfortunate rape afterwards…???

When everybody is revealing how our girls could digest to lose the race.  It has oftenly been seen that girls while pillow riders on motorcycles are unable to hide the imported elastic peeping out of low waist jeans despite pulling their miniature tops to its maximum.   I don’t know by their unsuccessful attempts whether they attract or pretend to hide coz what they wear would have not been worn if morally and in true spirits they intend to maintain the decency.  Otherwise one should either dress up properly or must not bother at all.

Any criticism or releasing poster against the advice to maintain decency shall be an insult to each brother, father, uncle etc.  Because one can fore view that we can’t become Americans but in the process there is every apprehension that we may not remain true Indians either.

So, advice of Mr. Robin may be treated as an elder brother shows concern for his younger sister. He just wanted to share his experience through his innocent advice.  An extract of his advice is reproduced where he gently says that it’s not an order, just an elder-brotherly advice:

Dress Code:

Ø      When in Rome do as Romans do;

Ø      Revealing dress be avoided;

Ø      Avoid lonely road/by-lane when dressed scantily;

Ø      Dress according to sensitivity of the local populace;

I salute Mr. Robin Hibu, DCP (West) for his considered concern towards our daughters and sisters…
