I m again surprised.for not finding many reviews for Wonder la. I consider the amusement parks I visited earlier as the traditional ones.(I m not counting Fun World :), GRS fantasy park and also Sammy’s dreamland(it was shutdown in a week after my visit!).Believe me, I found the rides/games at both the earlier places similar.So when I decided to take my niece and nephew to WonderLa, personally I was prepared for one more round of the same stereotype rides.
But Man.I have to say, this place took me by surprise.The rides are really out of the world.and they will blow ur mind away.The games were a new experience and adventure.U will feel the adrenaline rush.The games are thrilling and look real scary, but once u experience, they’re really cool.The operators are well aware of the machinery and are really efficient.
But a piece of advice - If u really not comfortable, DON’T GO on those rides.There are many other simpler rides, which u ll definitely enjoy.The water games r amazing as well.The water is cleaner and better than most of the places, I have been to. The changing rooms and locker facilities are adequate and easy to use.
The food outlets inside are reasonable and won’t overcharge(Sammy’s dreamland had people, waiting to loot you at the food outlets!) U can also buy Wonder La Merchandise(T-shirts, Caps etc), which I think are reasonably priced.
Reaching there is also not a problem.If u have ur own vehicle, its really gud.The directions are put very clearly and there are lot of hoardings while u drive towards the park on Mysore road.There are city buses also going to the place.I SUGGEST:- Reach WonderLa by 11. Go for the dry rides(the real thrilling ones first).Scream on these till your lungs have no air!.Eat a light lunch.and proceed towards the water sports. Believe me, time will fly when u r in water:) Once out.finish off the simple games.In the evening u can go to the auditoriums.
If u really Love these kinda places, believe me u will feel at the end that u did not have much time:) Thats y I suggest go at 11 and come out at 7.All in all an amazing, thrilling and refreshing park.Oh.and there is a giant wheel mounted at the top of a building. Do I need to say the ride is amazing?
