Wooden Street. Yes, It’s a street brand without reputation. You can say it is a third class company purchasing furniture from street carpenters and selling them with huge margin to innocent customers who come under impression after looking the furniture online. Please be cautious and keep away from these fruad companies.
I took delivery on two sofa by order number 41885 in January 2019 and installed in March 2019. Just in 15 days both the main sofa sinked down and took bad shape as well. After hundred of attempts, I was able to contact WoodenStreet on 9314444747 and got assured that my problem will be solved. But no response. Every week I contacted WoodenStreet and a different person on same number assured about resolving my problem. After 5 months of struggle one carpenter came to visit the sofa and reported that this work belongs to fabric department. After a long trial, a person so called from fabric department came and reported that there is manufacturing defect and support has not been given in the sofa below cushions. The last person I contacted one month back was Mr. Abhishek who sent a local person from local furniture shop last week. That person also reported the same that there is manufacturing defect and a Soft can not be like this. At this stage, Mr. Abhishek took back his words and told me that there is no problem in sofa and WoodenStreet will not do any thing in this matter. I was shocked. Even a simple shopkeeper do not respond like this and they do something to rectify if faulty product has been sold.
Dear friends. I you have hard earned money, please do not buy any product from WoodenStreet. You can call me and visit to see the sofa supplied by WoodenStreet. I have all recordings of phone calls with me and phone numbers of the persons who reported the manufacturing defect. I am soon moving to Consumer Court against this cheating.
