I bought a pair of light brown pure leather Woodland Shoes. MY foot size is 8, and they fit to it perfectly. Woodland shoes are multifunctional and compliments both with formal and informal dressing. They are also ruff and tuff, and do not requite any maintenance as such.
Other shoes got to be polishes at least, but woodland shoes looks cool, in fact they look better with their not so polishes looks. They are also great for trying adventures sport like trekking.
I think that is the main purpose of them, and that is the reason that they are preferred by many trekkers. I have tried trekking having them, and they got a good grip for the purpose. There soul to is hard and strong, and doesn’t deters much after a few trekking adventures I have had with them.
Apart from soul, the other part is soft, elastic, but strong. I think the quality of leather is very good.
They costed me 1200 Rs. Or 30 USD, which is a bit expensive for the other pure leather brands of shoes that we have had in India, but as they are international brand, and more importantly, the quality offered by them is worth their price, I don’t mind spending a few extra bucks over them.

Woodland shoes are really useful when trekking and during excursions.They keep your feet warm and also safe.A nice pair can last for around 2 years if handled properly.

Me too, I had purchase woodland shoes from the company showroom in 2011, For past 2 years I am using it daily 5days a week 11hrs daily, 2Kms daily walking.Even today(2013) the shoe are very comfortable with very little erosion to the front middle toe, heels are perfactly fine.Only worry to the adhesive which now slowly starts removing but thats fine I used the shoes at extremly harsh conditions even in monsoon also.Woodland is the best.

Woodland has lost its quality. Poor stitching. Not lasting.Never buy woodland again.
