I had purchased a Woodland shoes almost 9 months back, from a Borivali(west) showroom.
I read some reviews and got to know that majority of the people have some problems with this brand. But honestly, I don’t find any fault in it. I really wonder why do some people have had some bad experience with it but it’s fine. Everyone has their own tastes for a particular thing.
I had purchased a Khaki mens casual shoes and I’m using it for the past nine months and I haven’t found any problems with it. It’s looking awesome, with nice sturdy handsome looks and I had bought it for Rs.2595/- for a 30% discount from its actual price. So as far as the money goes, I was little bit lucky as I didn’t have to pay much.
I had purchased this brand of shoes because I was pretty much moved by it looks. It had spikes in its sole and was really looking stony! Just by looking at it’s appearance I bet anyone would be fascinated by it. So this is the main reason what drove me to purchase this pair of shoes.
I actually don’t dislike anything about this product so I’m pretty much fine with it. But I guess everyone wouldn’t be OK as each and every individual might be having their own bad experience.
Since it’s expensive and is said to be suitable for rough and tough use, I have been using it with utmost care, so this might be the reason why it’s still looking fine. Really no issues. May be I was a bit lucky to get a better quality product. As far as the other Woodland products are concerned I really have no idea about it, but trekking shoes are really GOOD.
Comfort wise, it’s average as I don’t get any room to move my toes inside the shoes. It feels so tight and sometimes a bit uncomfortable, but I have got used to it. It is also available in only in few selective colors so you can choose from any one of them. you would feel a bit uncomfortable initially but once you start wearing it you would get along with it. So it won’t be much of a problem for you later. But you have got to use it very well if you want it’s durability to last for a very long time. I know that it’s for rough and tough use, but it would be better if you believe in my words! So for comfort I would rate it as 3.5 out of 5.
It suits me very well. It will look even more better if you wear a black T-Shirt or any round or V-shaped T-Shirt And Cargo pants in trousers. It really looks Sporty and I bet I would best on each and everyone of us who would wear it. It also looks good on jeans, torn Denim jeans, chinos. So basically it would look great on any outfit. So you can wear it at any point, irrespective of any seasons, at any time. You can wear it for parties, for attending social functions, marriage, or anything. It’s actually better suited for adventures like trekking, mount climbing, mountaineering, extreme skiing, endurance running or even an exploratory journey through the wilderness. It looks great, fits great but actually it’s little bit slippery on wet floors particularly. Also if the floor is dry then it won’t be a problem for you, but if the floor is slippery and if you slip then you would get a feeling of doubts by looking at it’s rugged looks. So the only thing that you need to be conscious about is that BECAREFUL while walking on wet floors. Apart from this limitations it’s a best one from woody! About the looks and the way it suits me I would like to rate it as complete out of marks-a 5 on 5.
Well if you still got some problems with this brand, I guess Adidas and Nike would be even a better option. These two products have a brand name and they stand better on their quality and durability. Or else you can also opt for any other brand or local shoes if you haven’t gone down well with this product. But I’m really happy with it, a better value for money that we put in it. But still you can afford to have this pair of shoes along with some other brands that you would have. It’s quite competitive.
Since it has performed very well over a period of time I would recommend that you do buy this pair of shoes if you are looking out for some trendy thing. And the value for money is worth it! Since it’s little bit expensive, they always tend to sell it at flat discount rates, so you can take better advantage of this opportunity as it won’t cost you much money. So looks wise no one would have hands on it, but brand wise it might fall behind popular brands like Adidas and Nike. So overall I would rate this brand as 4 out of 5. Purchase it, wear it and have a feeling of it, you would feel really great! From me-no complains, no demands. An excellent product.
