I have a WOODLAND MEN’S SHOES( ITEM CODE G 23777W13) bought from aeroclub woodland shop at bangalore, marathalli.
I have very rarely wear it as it is heavy.
Some months back the tongue of the shoes came off suddenly while walking and fell somewhere and I did come to know about it as I was in busy market area.
Later when I showed the shoes at woodland shop to know if new tongue can be fixed or not.
They called the Woodland company and reply was same original tongue will not be replaced, but a lighter tongue will be replaced.
So I deposited the shoes to the shop.
After one month the shoes has been returned to me saying new tongue cannot be not fixed and they needed the old tongue which woodland will just stitch it.
The tongue is attached to shoes by a small one mm stitch which will definitely come off in few days if used.
Woodland is now LYING that footwear is in a non repairable condition, due to physical damage and wear & tear.
The reality is the shoe I have wore it at most 30 days since the time I bought it and shoe is neither damaged nor weared and teared due to RARE USAGE.
Only the tongue came off in 30 days usage and woodland shed ed its responsibility accepting its degraded quality product sold at high price.
I wonder when I weared the shoes occasionally then its tongue came off what would have happened if I would had used the shoes daily?
Like other people’s experience even some part of the shoes would had come off.
This is what is the unreliable and degraded quality of the woodland product and its services.
