Hi all, Recently one of my friend was leaving to UK for one year and we wanted to celebrate that event very well. So we began our day with visiting temples, going to friends, and going to some bowling and finally in evening we decided to go to some fine restaurant in town. We wanted to try some thing new. So in place of going to time tested place like Tandoor, Bay Leaf or Ebony we went to this good looking Woody’s with glass walls and flashy lights all around situated on road to Jay Nagar. A large number of cars and other automobiles around it made us feel that yes food is going to be great. But one of our friend was reluctant to try this out, might be he had sixth sense as you would also come to know. All hell break loose once we entered in restaurant. It was no less than a platform of some bombay local trains. In stead of plating some fine music it was entire chaos out there. One person was fighting loudly with waiter over there for unworking AC while other were talking in that commotion. And the scene was nothing close to a restaurant. There was no voice absorber on walls of the restaurant and no privacy at all. Again our friend told us to go to some other place but we insisted to be there. And we were asked to wait for some 30 minutes, which is quite common on weekends in Bangalore. We waited for 30 minutes to wait for another 30 minutes. So after one hour we got some cornet seat for 5 persons. Now comes the waiter to have order, we ordered some starters like veg spring roll, fruit punch, lemon juice, cold coffee with ice cream. And in main course we wanted to order some thing made of paneer which the waiter told is not available so we ordered some other vegetables, some curd raitas and in breads we ordered stuff paranthas, simple naans, butter bread. Here begins the last leg of party. But soon it was going to be the worst experience of life. After waiting of another 30 minutes or so we were brought main course !!! No starters at all !! When we complained than we were served lemon soda with no ice and no soda. Fruit punch which was a simple grape juice with no ice !! Coffee with normal temperature and some icecream in it. So you see the hot-cold cold coffee with ice cream. On top of that we were served just one vegetable curry and other was conveniently forgotten by staff there. And by now you would have guessed the qualities of roti, parantha and all. When we complained about all these, to our utter surprize some four waiters assembled there and they started arguing with us. so we decided to just call it a day and we proceeded towards exit gate. Than four more waiters come to us and asked us to pay bill as if we were not going to pay. And than we had a little fight over that and those guys didn’t cancel any of these foods. What surprised us was the fact that it was kinda anarchy out there and no responsible person to cater to customers. So I would NOT recommend any body to go this restaurant. In the mean time we are contemplating some action against these guys in consumer court.
