I visited wordIQ and was surprised by the wonderful tools that this website provides. Their layout is simple and clean -- I love the fact that their provide almost all the tools I would need to do any school project at my University. All of their site is completely free and they do not collect any of my information or emails so privacy is not an issue.
Their strengths are that they provide a powerful encyclopedia, dictionaries, and wonderful books that I can read for free. They also provide a searchable dream dictionary which is quite fun to browse around. Overall, when I get bored and want to look up something I’ve always been interested in (such as the history of the Los Angeles Lakers), I would browse around on wordIQ and learn about it. You should try it, it’s really fun.
The only nitpicking gripe I have is that they don’t have a medical dictionary. They also could provide a periodical search for newspapers and stuff. I think these two sections would be extremely useful for users.
I hope more people learn about this website because it is every student’s dream to find it. If you are doing a science report, book report, or just want to get information about a topic you are unfamiliar with, wordIQ is the place I’d look to first. Kudos to the creators of this great site!
