Worst Service

I am residing at Ranjeet Nagar, New Delhi. I had been using Sify broadband for more than a year but recently my LCO asked me not to renew my sify account because they are not supporting sify service anymore in the area. Then I called up sify to confirm the same and they also informed me that sify service will no longer be available.


The LCO said that they would be providing World Phone service in place of Sify and with not much options left I decided to go for World Phone service. I subscribed to the unlimited 384 kbps pack for Rs. 660 on October 12, 2012. The internet was working perfectly fine for the first four hours and then it started to create problems. The download speed was a dismal 10 kbps against 35+ kbps for the same plan on Sify. The next day there was connectivity issue and when I informed my LCO he rectified it (for that moment). After an hour the connectivity became unstable. It came down to such an extent that every ten minutes the internet gets disconnected. When I called the customer care and informed them they tried to clean up my PC by clearing cookies and everything and they finally concluded that there was some problem with my PC. I told them that the same PC was being used with sify connection with much better results.


I was very apprehensive about subscribing to a new service provider (since I did not want to pay installation and other costs once again) but my apprehensions came true. Please don’t subscribe to World Phone. I am planning not to renew it any more after completion of this current plan.
