I have been using worldspace since 5 years & their content quality is very good. What I like is no commercials in between songs. But sometimes RJs tend to be talking completely out of sense & they prove to be pain in the . We certainly dont want to hear these guys talking non sense when we have subscribed for pure music.
But service-wise world space is really really pathetic. Their call center is hope less, usually one has to wait for service engineers visit - they are not very flexible in terms of timings. You will have to wait weeks for installation!
Player service support is good for new bpl players, but nil & experience is horrible for old players for which we have paid 10K plus.
I have 2 players one old player (joy ear) used by my parents which is "dead" and not working - I had paid 10K for this piece of crap.
Another new one Bpl used by me which is working fine. When old one went dead, I visited their office in Bangalore who kept this player for about 2 months plus and returned saying that I need to hunt for new adaptor in market and player is repaired. When I went and searched for a suitable rating adaptor in market - those guys say player is dead. I went back to worldspace company office - no use. They just refuse to even talk.
They old called back to me - took my feed back about this repair about 5-6 times - but nothing happened.
One fine day they started calling for renewal of this faulty player - I must have got at least 100 plus renewal calls - each will listen to story, note down that player is faulty and thats it. back to square one.
They are interested only in renewal of subscription not any thing!
Customer care tells that I need to pay and buy a new player ! but no one wants to repair the player for which I paid Rs.10000 - this is day light robbery by bosses @ worldspace!
I wonder is any body awake in customer service? first of all is there a department called customer service??? God knows!
