Wrangler is a denim brand specifically for jeans, although they do have other clothing and accessories including non denim ones.
They are a US company but the India operation I believe is independent as not only the products are made in India, but the collection is also quite different. Anyway the brand is quite popular in the country and has picked up more patrons with the online boom in India. they also have tie up with Jabong as shop now link in wrangler India site redirects to jabong.
I have bought quite a few of their jean over time, there is variation in material but the ones that I have bought are either 100% cotton or 98% cotton with rest spandex.
The materials are quite smooth and comfortable to wear even in hot climate. A problem is that either as they are all prewashed to give the worn look or may be quality of denim used, they get easily worn out. But for the price and fit(usually available around 1.5k after discount which is nowadays year round) the product is more than satisfactory.
A problem faced while online is understanding the fit, they have names for various fit. I have owned 4 various kind of fit. Rockville, millard, skanders and floyd and these are the most commonly seen fits too though there are others. First three are slim fit, although skanders is more of skinny than slim, it is low rise too. Rockville is low rise slim fit and millard is mid rise slim fit. Floyd is mid rise regular fit. I used to buy rockville the most, as I like that fit but with age low rise jeans can be difficult to carry.
Overall I like the fit of the jeans and I would suggest to someone looking for a pair. Although some one looking for a jean to wear in rough work conditions or for general rough wear I would suggest visiting the showroom as most of the collection offered is aimed to satisfy look rather than function and that too at a lower price point, so quality of denim may be not on par.
