Met with dr mohan kameshwaran who came across as the most hot headed person ever to talk to a new patient. I heard good things about him but the way he put across his content to a patient he sees for the first time was nothing short of terrible. of course we went for a hearing problem and of course logic possibly tells us that she needs to go for an aid given her age; but the way this message was delivered in a 2 minute conversation sent us packing. first came the suggestion that nothing can be done for her age; next came our question on whether surgical options existed; then came the response that he is not here to solve vanity issues; then came another blast to my mom that she doesnt know or realize that she cannot hear; and then came the clincher when he said he doesnt care if I endorse or not, but this is his recommendation. watch out if you’re going to him first time and be ready with your questions and his attitude.
