Poor

The X-Men once again add some new blood to their ranks and all those casting decisions turned out to be just perfect. That doesn’t mean that all characters get the screen time or importance they’d deserve, but overall it’s handled relatively well. Less ideal is that Miss Lawrence doesn’t feel like spending all that much time in her Mystique Make-up while her character gets even more important anyway.

Oscar Isaac tries his best under the somewhat mediocre villain make-up but could have been handled with more dignity, too. The rest works great, the showdown is huge and fun, the set-ups for even more stories in the future are promising.

Not a flawless film by any means and probably the weakest of the new trilogy, but a highly entertaining and rewarding one nonetheless. At least for the X-Men fans. Everyone else has no bloody chance to follow this. Thank you
