I purchased the Xiaomi Mi3 from Flipkart.com(Order ID: OD40812048825)
10 days after using the same, the phones screen broke while in my back pocket.
I went to Xiaomi and they said its not the products fault hence warranty is void.
I asked them to replace the screen and the estimate given at HCL Touch Service Centre(official Xiaomi service provider) was Rs. 5, 530/-. This is roughly 40% of the phones cost.
The time given for the replacement was 2 weeks.
It has been more than 3 weeks now and I still dont have the replacement part.
I called flipkart.com and they said that since they are the distributor they would replace the phone. 10 minutes after I spoke to the flipkart executive(Ms. Swagatika, Phone No. "+91804905*") she informed me that sine the phone is out of stock, flipkart will refund me the amount. 10 minutes later she again called me and said that flipkart will not do anything.
Now I am stuck with a Chinese companies phone with no warranty or support.
Flipkart has turned its back on me even though they are the EXCLUSIVE distributors of Xiaomi in India.
