I am using Xiaomi MI4 from last 3 weeks. This is what I felt against what was promised by the vendor.
Design:Awesome in comparison to all the phones upto 30K . like u get a real premium look with stainless steel body unlike other brands that offer u mould or metal alloy. That’s why it’s a bit heavier. Body is awesome and elegant 10 out of 10.
Display, touch, UI: Awesome 441ppi, beautiful, touch Very responsive, MIUI far better, highly customizable and user friendly interface that gives freedom.
Cameras: Good both in day as well as night. Front camera is awesome real 8MP.
Battery:as far as 3 weeks’ve passed, battery is very good. I expect it to last forever like this way:)
Processor:gaint, good. The system gives options of performance mode & balanced mode. In formers case all 4 cores go by 2.5ghz and in laters case only 2 cores are enabled both cycling a total of 1.2Ghz
Satisfied.
CONS:
1.Yes it heats and heats considerably after using phone for heavy games for half an hour.
2.I’m using 16gb version but I feel that SD card option must be there.
3.Dual sim for those who feel it compulsory. For me I am satisfied with one.
4.Location of speaker. Sometimes these get covered with hands.
Conclusion:
Despite all the flaws for me it’s value to my money. I am satisfied with it. It’s has got real premium look and gives very much what it promises. I bought it for 20K. For new buyer, gud news is that the company has slashed it’s price by 2K.
