Being a close to year old model, there are good number of detailed reviews on the internet. I think this handset is pretty good for the price I paid during the offer @ 13.5.
Pros:
1) Gorgeous display, strong build quality, ergonomically designed for 5 incher. Xiaomi phones are known for being looker.
2) Pretty quick, crisp and clear daylight camera, both front and back. Though low light is going to be grainy for most smartphones
3) 3GB Ram under performance mode is a delight and so is the MIUI. It’s pretty beautifully designed.
4) Snapdragon 801 is Qualcomm’s most successful and stable SoC. It’s really fast. Don’t go by cores. A device’s performance is based on multiple parameters. Cons:
1) MIUI is this device’s strength and weakness. It’s pretty heavy and takes toll. So, unless u’re using it under performance mode, it’ll start feeling sluggish after a while though u’ll never run out of memory. The skin really just too heavy.
2) Very slight warming observed on display as well as back after extended internet usage, though it’s really mAnasultangeable
