I got this mobile recently( via flipkart for INR 12999) .and trust me, the title perfectly suits this device.This device has an amazing built quality.It has a 5.5 inch 1080p IPS display.It also has a rear fingerprint scanner and an IR blaster( as expected from xiaomi) .It weighs 168 grams.The only con about the physical look which I personally feel is the bezels, yes they could have been a bit smaller, but overall it has a very good look.Talking about the front camera, it is a 5mp shooter, but the selfies are better than expected as it has beauty mode and also good clarity.Talking about the rear camera, it has a dual( 12mp+ 12mp) camera setup with one being a telephoto lens and other being a wide angle lens( coolest feature for this price range) .It has 2x optical zoom and can also capture bokeh( potrait) shots.It has all other features such as panaroma, straighten, manual, etc.it also has inbuilt filters which can be accessed by any camera mode.But the camera struggles a bit to capture details in dark light.Video quality I would say good but not exceptional. Now due to this feature of camera, this mid range smartphone is able to compete with premium ones like iphone 7plus and 1plus5.The xiaomi mi a1 is powered by 2GHz octa core Qualcomm snapdeagon 625 processor with 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM and expandable upto 128GB.It has a hybrid sim slot with nano sim.It has a 3080mAh non removable battery which I expected to be >3500mAh.This device has the best speaker and headphone jack in the market.Now the best part which I like about this mobile is that it is an Android One device.yep, it runs in pure android, i.e it does not have MIUI.Now the advantage of this is that you get android security and version updates very quickly( I got the oreo update on 31st dec’17) .Besides, google has promised next 2 years updates.Therefore, I HIGHLY recommend this device.
