Mi A1 has been my daily driver for last 1 month and so I can say that it is a pretty capable smartphone with superb specs and amazing camera.
Mi A1 is working best for me because I listen a lot of music. Its single speaker sounds like a boss. Sound comes out loud, clear and crisp.
As it has a loud speaker I never miss my calls because the phone rings pretty loud. Performance of headphone jack is also impressive.
It has a very attractive design. From back it looks like iPhone 7 plus and I love it. It is only 7.3 mm thick and so it is very sleek. It feels way premium than it costs.
It comes with stock Android. Stock Android is very simple to use. When I bought it it was in Android 7.0 and now it has got oreo 8.0. App opens quickly. Everything works super fine. As the phone’s size is 5.5 inch it is not easy to use it with one hand. The phone is very slippery from back and that’s why I use a back cover and I would recommend others using too.
I am in love with it’s dual camera. They take amazing pictures. I love the depth effect. The front camera is a little weak. It is not wide angle and so it covers less area in selfie. Anyway I am happy with the rear camera which is superb.
The battery life of this phone is also good. Since it came only with 3080 mAh battery I was little worried, but it does well. It lasts easily a whole day. It takes approx 2 hours to charge completely from 0 to 100 but I hardly drain the battery till 0% and so I’m happy with the charging time also.
Overall a very impressive phone. As now it’s price has gone 1000 Rs down it has become an even better choice. At 14000 where would you get anything better than Mi A1. If you are thinking of buying it, just grab one, you’ll be happy with it.
