Hi its me shailesh and today I’ll be telling you about a Xiaomi Mi A1 phone which I have been using from past 3 months .
No doubt Mi A1 is of one of the best phone you can get at a price of Rs 14999. Xiaomi is constantly making effort to bring new devices at tempting price. Thats not a easy task yet xiaomi makes it feel almost effortlessly natural at this point. The design of the phone is simple and decent. It is little bit of slippery without cover . It does look like iphone 7 plus and 1 plus 5. The built in quality is really nice and feels lighter in weight.The sound quality is really good but the sad part is that with time it deteriorates so we can conclude that it not that user friendly . It has 4gb of ram and 64gb of storage.
After using it I found that the phone is not a value of money. Since the battery of the phone is only 3800mh which is quit small cause on a day of little heavy usage I have to charge it like 2 times a day but with a normal usage it last for a day. Camera on the other hand workes slow if your memory is full more than a half and image appears to be shaking while recording . Camrea works well in day light but in low light picture from both front( 5 megapixal) and rare ( 12 megapixel) camera don’t meet the eyes.Signal reception of the phone is quit weak as compared to other phone. You can use either a sd card and sim or duel sim with no sd card. No separate slot is given for sd card .
The verdict
Mi A1 has more cons than pros. Company claims seval performance issues will be cure with new update but I dont find it promising. I would have loved this phone if Xiaomi would have made it better in many ways. I’ll only suggest this phone to people who are fan of xiaomi or want a phone which look lot like iphone 7 plus.
