I have the xiaomi mi A1, xiaomi is also making a big deal about that much hyped up dual camera setup on the mi A1.i have been using this phone for almost 3 weeks now and I have a lot to review about it.so MI A1 retails for rs.15000.and it is lot to offer in this price range. A dual camera setup, a solid design, an exellent display, and last but not the least stock android.
One thing to note is that the black varient is made in china while the gold varient is made in india.
And talking about the design, it has a unibody aluminium design with matfinish. And overall its a premium looking smartphone.mi A1 also has a gorilla glass3.
Now coming on to performance its software mi a1 nails it in the performance department.specially in the budget price range.so I have got the snapdragon 625 with adreno 506 GPU, a popular choice for every budget xiaomi’s smartphone we have seen this year, 4ghz ram, 64ghz of internal storage, along with micro sd card slot which is hybrade in nature and it can support upto 128 ghz of internal storage.
And software updates are must.i have already recieved 2 software updates for my mi a1.
My experience with stock android has been great, but due to stock android animations the fingerprint unlock seems slow, though there is no problem with the fingerprint scanner.
And one thing to note is that the audio output through the headphone jack is one of the best I have use ever in any smartphone. And the speaker is loud enough too.
And now coming to its battery life this phone has 3080mph battery life and its good for any phone.
Now finally lets talk about the much hyped up dual camera modules which are the highligting feature of this smartphone.now I have mixed feelings about the camera. Some of which is good and some not that good.
Before talking about the camera I would like to state that the low light pictures on this thing are not that much good.
On the back we have dual 12 megapixel pairar cameras. One of which has 26 mili meter f2.2 lens, while the other telephoto lens has a focal lenghth of 50mm with a aperture of f2.6
And the pictures are too good.
The autofocus is very fast.
And HDR mode is best to take picture sharperer.
