I am using MI A1 from 5 to 6 months and as a user I want to share my personal experience about this device. It is a good phone in such a budget. This phone is very slim and gives a very good grip in hand. The performance was very good it does not hang and does not lag anywhere in my usage. I did heavy gaming, watch videos and did other stuffs but the performance was very nice. Here in this phone only one speaker grill is given but the sound output was was very good and loud.I liked the thing that USB-C type per is given because of which the phone gets charged faster. I also like the camera of the phone very much and specially the potrait mode. I had also used the redmi note 4, the camera performance is much improved. Sometimes in darkness the camera does not show good results. The fingerprint sensor is really fast and responsive. I liked that MI A1 comes with stock android and gives a complete smooth experience. Because of stock android the updates comes very fast as compare to other phones or other xiaomi phones. As no phone is the best this phone also have some cons. It is only having hybird sim card slot that means I was only able to put two sim card or one sim card or one memory card. It would be much better if separate slot for memory card was provided. This phone should have some features of miui like screenshot, themes etc. The main thing was that I was unable to purchase it in flash sale, I had to pay 1000 rupees extra to the mobile dealer. It is not a bad phone but it also have some cons. But this is budget smartphone with lots of features. I hope you got some help buying a new phone
