This device is a nice Streaming device. It’s basically a mini Nvidia shield. It runs Android TV OS so one must have knowledge of how to sideload apps/apks not available in Play store. If you have Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon or the like subscriptions this is plug and play and all apps will perform as developers intended with included remote and will have optimal playback ( Dolby, HDR, etc) . If you’re looking to get away from the stock Android OS devices then try this device. And unlike the typical stock Android boxes Mi box receives updates. Plus you can add storage if so inclined. Purchased this for guest bedroom. Have Nvidia shields as primary streamers in home and was pleasantly surprised by this device. Also imo has more functionality than a Roku, Apple TV, and Amazon fire stick 4k devices as it’s open Android TV OS that can be sideloaded with apps/apks that your can not add or will not function of you add to the other like devices mentioned. Last of all, it’s reasonably priced at under $60 on eBay, Amazon or at Walmart.
