My experience after 2 months use of 2 Mi Pads.
DISPLAY.Its simple to understand from the name MI_PAD.yes the display is as awesome as IPAD’s retina display.
IF u read a lot.its a boon to read on this mipad.crisp text.ample brightness.eyes never remind u to take a break when reading on this.even the smallest fonts and punctuations look great.ofcourse u can use kindle but u the versatility of having a tablet is always better.for reading it gets.9/10
SOUND>who doesnt like to have good external speaker for a 8 inch device.this device wont disappoint u here.most importantly this chinese product doesnt make u feel its cheap chinese crap even at max volume.9/10.
With headphones.u really love the output.also the MU audio player gives a lot of presets and adjustments to choose for the ear/headphones.9/10

well the glory starts fading here.but not a total bummer either.
I read a lot with wifi always on.12 hrs sure
I read a lot+ browse for 2-3 hrs.10 hrs sure
I browse a lot+ FB 1 hr+ whatspp 2 hrs.6-7 hrs sure
and what else.wow thats great.wait wait.what if I watch youtube.take this
youtube 2-3 hrs.battery drops by 80%
and .who doesnt play games on this device?
temple run/ subway surfers.3 hrs.battery down 70-80%
and.heavy games.only 3-4 hrs max.
OK.IM DONE.BUT THE REAL PROBLEM IS.THIS BEAUTY BECOMES HOT.REALLY HOT WHILE GAMING.YOU TUBE.IN AND AROUND THE BACK CAMERA.
YES THIS REALLY BOTHERS ME NOW.
COZ I CANT HOLD IS PORTRAI MODE WHILE GAMING HEAVILY AND ALSO I CANT PUT ANY COVER OR CASE TO THIS HOT AND VERY SLIPPERY BEAUTY.
YES.ITS VERY SLIPPERY.IT MAY JUST KISS THE FLOOR IF U LOSE GRIP EVEN MOMENTARILY.
TO SUM-UP:

Superb screen
Gorilla glass protection
Good speaker voulme.
Reasonably good battery(no I am not sure how u take this)
OTG supports external hard disks upto 2 TB(yes, I tested with mine)

Buy or NOt to buy?
That I cant tell.but I am very happy with this.since I read a lot.browse often and youtube sometimes.and game play seldom.if ur purpose is near this.go ahead and buy.
