I have purchased my Mi Pad about 6 months ago from Flipkart. I did not review it earlier because I wanted to see its performance in the long run and then comment on it.
I have seen many gadgets that perform brilliantly in the first three - four months and then begin to slow down. Apart from this tablet, I have iPad Air 2 and Nexus 7 also. So without wasting your time, lets begin the detailed review of Mi Pad -

The tablet comes in Xiaomi’s trademark packaging which is made up of eco friendly material. the design is minimalistic, no flash logos or picture. the box is very strong and well built.

The Xiaomi Mi Pad is a 7.9-inch tablet, which sports a unibody design. Owing to the form factor and plastic body, at the first look, the Mi Pad reminds you of an iPhone 5C or a Windows Phone stretched out to a tablet. Made out of a sophisticated plastic, the Mi Pad is sturdy and well-flushed along the edges. However, the back panel of the tablet is eminently glossy, which does not allow a good grips and therefore we would recommend a sleeve or a cover to keep the tablet safe.
