Xiaomi Redmi 1S

Xiaomi Redmi 1S is a value for money smartphone in the range of 6k. You will get great features with robust build quality.  MI user interface is really nice. One will easily become a fan of that customized interface. I would recommend to buy if you are in the age range of 15-35. Because personally I feel the mobile needs to install few apps to monitor the phone performance. You can enhance the performance and operability of phone yaing Ram control and cpu monitoring apps. So these stuffs are somewhat tricky for that purpose only I am saying that one should not buy who is above 40.

Style and design-

I cant say its very stylish phone but it ok. As per the price its worth. Phone is somewhat sturdy. I can give 7 out of 10 for design.

Reliability and Durability-

You have to charge the phone twice a day as it give back up of 5 to 6 hrs. If you are a student its ok, for working people I wont suggest to buy this phone.

I have used this phone about two years.

Pros:

1. Camera-

It has decent 8mp camera which clicks pretty good pictures compared to the phones in the 6k range.

1. Audio-

You will get crisp audio quality which is really amazing thing about this phone.

1. UI-

User Interface is really great and you will get lot of updates from Xiaomi. In the MI store you will get lot of themes and wallpapers. You have options to customize the user interface. You can download the features offline as well.

1. Dual Sim Support-

It has dual sim support with the 3G support. You can use 1 sim at a time with another on stand by.

Cons:

1. Battery-

This is major drawback of this model. One has to keep charger(and socket(:P) with them.). It comes with 2000mAh Li-Ion battery. Battery discharges very fast. You have to keep power bank with you then only you can rely on this phone.

2.Heating-

This phone heats a lot. You merely use this phone while charging. If you play any games also if will start heating. Very soon you will get use to it. One can put cover our case to overcome this problem. Or you can monitor the copy uses and control the frequency of the smartphone.

3.Camera-

Rear camera is pretty good. It have auto focus and if works fine outside of the home I mean in sunlight. In dark it’s not that much good. Front camera is not that much good.

4.Capacitive buttons-

Capacitive buttons don’t have backlight.  In night you have to pleated that buttons on your judgement.

1. Headset-

it doesn’t give headset along with the box. One has to purchase of separately. You can go ahead with the xiaomi headphone available on mi store.

6.Weight-

Xiaomi Redmi 1s weighs around 158 grams. again this thing matters, to carry the phone always in hand or in pocket you will feel this weight.

1. Low Pixel Density-

It’s around 312 ppi.

1. It does not support 4G.
