This phone I have buyed on november, 2014. At tha time this phone was the killer. This is 4.7 inch HD screen. The screen is excellent. Very good viewing angles. Bright colors.
And the touch of screen is smooth. And the main pros ( advantage) of this phone is its camera. I have not seen such a quality camera. It has 8MP camera and by comparing todays smartphones 8MP phone by this redmi 1s, then also this has killer camera. Secondry camera is not impresive.
The full HD video recording is also excellent. And design is beautiful consisting its price( ?6, 000) . It has 8gb of internal storage and 1gb of RAM. Its performance is fine, it can handle some apps running in the background without any laging or hanging. Its not the 4G phone. But, No WiFi Problems, No 3G Problems. No Tower problems. The speaker is below average. By increasing the volume the sound gets disturbed. And ear piece quality is good. Speakers are not good but if you listen music by headphones the sound quality is very good. And biggest con is battery. The battery is inconsistent. It discharges fastly. And gaming performane is very good but medium size games. ( 2 GB size games) .
We spend our time on the screen of the mobile. And its tge best quality display. Its an IPS LCD capacitive screen. Never buy TFT LCD but you can buy IPS LCD. The colors are good. Heats up when playing games but not so much. The phone is responsive.
If your budget is ?5, 000 then go for it.
