Redmi 2 prime is one of the best phone still present in market, the phone actually comes in two variants 1 Gb RAM with 8 GB of storage for 6000 INR and 2 GB of RAM for 16 GB of storage for 7000 INR.
The sound quality of phone is good sound of the receiver is loud and clear, no issues with the connectivity and the main output speaker is also loud and clear it delivers a good experience while listening to songs and watching videos. The phone also has the feature of active noise cancellation with dedicated mic.
The phone is easy to use it powered by android Kit Kat which you can upgrade it in Lollipop later it is also supported with MIUI 7.2.1 which you can update to MIUI 8( I don’t suggest to update because it will drain you battery even faster).
The phone is thin but may look thick if you use a cover it is not much heavy, the style of the phone looks really cool and the has a smooth finish which is dust resistant. It comes in two variants black and blue.
Thanks to the MIUI the phone has got a lot of features including call recording, compass, major sensors, inbuilt theme app, the mi account and various other useful inbuilt apps. It is a 4G phone you can use JIO also. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 with 1.2 Ghz quad core processor so there are no issues with the speed of the phone minor lags can be felt sometime while multitasking. It has 8 Mp primary camera with automatic face detection and autofocus with 2 MP front camera. the camera gives great pictures if you can keep you hand really still while taking photos but if your hand moved the photo will be blurred.
Apart from this fact, that the phone is manufactured by a Chinese company, it works fine and is really reliable. Xiaomi is known for producing good quality phones with lots of features but all of there phones have few problems.
For e.g this phone has he issue with camera and battery. The phone is durable only if you use cover, the back panel may, broke if phone fallen on edge because it is made from plastic(but it is of good quality plastic), it is very much durable thoug,
I threw my phone in anger tody but nothing happended to it only screen guard got cracked, which can be changed.
The phone is value for money if you are a photographer and compromise with the small screen. No major issues with the phone, the battery draining occurs only after updating to MIUI 8.
