Overall I’m happy. To be clear I have experiences with Micromax A58, Xperia Zr and Galaxy S5. It competes well with both the higher end phones I have. Here is the summary after~ 1 years of use:
Pros:
Fast enough for most purposes.
Camera is good, especially the back one, given its mid-range price.
Sound quality is great
Gets updates regularly, does not feel like abandoned, like many with samsung phones may feel.
Battery life is good. Though, keeping in wifi/data can significantly reduce it.
Cons:
The front camera somehow lightens the skin color. Which is I guess to please our asian racist mentality. Hate that, but you may as well like it.
The Mi OS is kind of ok, it would depend highly on your choice. I use Nova launcher to make it look more like usual android.
Other:
- No headphones are provided.
