Annoying after sales service

I bought Redmi 3S prime 32GB in August 2016. This is not the first Mi product that I have purchased(I own a Mi note 3, Mi 4A, Mi 4 and Mi band as well) but definitely the worst user(or should I say after sales) experience I have experienced.


The handset(Redmi 3S Prime) worked fine for 8 months, I loved it’s camera and its display, but since then I have been experiencing network issues with the handset. The network connection drop every so often. Sometimes it gets sorted on its own after few hours and sometimes it needs reinsertion of the sim card plate.


I have visited mi service centre 5 times in the last 3 months and every time they change something or the other but the issue remains the same. After every visit the handset works fine for a day or two but the same problem is encountered after that.


I was suggest to try different service providers and considering that, have tried a number of them including Airtel, Vodafon, Idea and Jio, but the issue remains the same. Same sim when used by some other phone works fine.


I called up there cust.care as well and they very rudely said that the handset is working fine and they cannot help me with it. Same is the case with the oneassist(Mi protect) service centre.


I haven’t had such a bad experience with the cust.care executives ever. When I call the Mi cust.care they suggest me to call oneassist and when I call up oneassist they suggest me to call Mi cust.care. It been going to and fro for the last 3 days. Makes me feel like I am in some old government office.


Definitely not the kind attitude and customer care expected from such a renowned brand. If this is the kind of after sales service provided by Mi, then sorry, I don’t recommend this brand to anyone. They do not care about the issue faced by the customer but moreover concern with saving there own a*s.


Not recommended at all.
