Xiaomi has just stared selling their much awaited budget smartphone’Redmi 3S Prime’ today(9-Aug-2016) in India through Flipkart and the official Mi India site. The main USP is said to be the massive 4100 mAH battery and that is why it is termed as’Power at Last’.
The major specifications are - Octa-core Snapdragon 430 Processor, Premium metal body, Fingerprint sensor, 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM, 720p HD Display, Hybrid dual sim, IR blaster, 13 MP PDAF rear / 5 MP front camera. This is a’Made in India’ product which is really appreciable for’Make in India’ initiative.
The mobile is priced at INR 8999 and it is a power packed device within this price tag. The device performance is impressive and smooth. The camera focuses pretty fast and has a good image quality. But in low light the quality of picture is bit inferior. The bottom home buttons are NOT back lit. It is still a very good device and will give tough competition to to other manufacturers below 10k segment. This is a recommended device for those who are willing to upgrade to a finger-print sensor-ed mobile below 10k with a robust hardware and huge battery life.
