Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has come up with an upgraded variant of the Redmi 3s. The latest offering known as the Redmi 3s Prime differs from the former only in terms of storage and also comes with a fingerprint sensor.
DISPLAY AND DESIGN
The Xiaomi Redmi 3s Prime features a 5-inch HD display that is coupled with good viewing angles and reproduces vibrant colours. The smartphone sports a full metal magnesium alloy unibody design that makes it light and is easy to carry around. OTHER FEATURES
The Redmi 3s Prime being an upgraded variant includes a fingerprint sensor that is located right below the camera module like the Redmi Note 3.
PERFORMANCE AND BATTERY
Under the hood, aimed to deliver smooth and flawless performance, the device is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor. Also, unlike the Redmi 3s, the device ships with 3GB of RAM to take care of your multitasking requirements. The device packs a Li-Ion 4, 100 mAh battery and is available in silver, gold and dark gray colour options.
STORAGE AND CONNECTIVITY
From storing your apps to personal data including music, videos, games, etc. the device offers plenty of storage space. It ships with an onboard storage space of 32GB that can further be expanded via a microSD card up to 128GB using the Hybrid SIM slot. To help you remain connected there are options like 4G, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and a microUSB 2.0 port.
CAMERA
The Redmi 3s Prime comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera which is paired with an LED flash to capture images and record videos in both dull and bright conditions. For selfie bugs, there is a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter as well.
