Physical overview -on upper side of smartphone there is 3.5 mmheadphone audio jack and IR Blaster which is generally found in very premium range smartphones but xiaomi s giving in this budget range.
In right side of the smarphone we have power on/off button and volume key.
In bottom we have main microphone and opening micro usb charging.
In left side we have hybrid sim slot 1st slot is regular one and second sim slot id used as either sim2 or microsd card which is not good.

One thing I have noticed physical home buttons are not backlite but in this budget range what we can expect. Regarding the screen quality viewing angles are good
This is a budget oriented android smartphone and with compact screensize which is 5 Inch.its a very good smartphone.
PROS -
( 1) The first thing I like with this device is the battery life that I was getting that was short of expected because it has just 5 inch screen and has huge 4100 MAH battery and have to say that the battery life on this device is nothing sort of extraordinary and I get screen on time 8hours and I used this smartphone 2 days one time charge.
( 2) fingerprint scanner is on the back side of the smartphone and the movement you tap it unlock the smartphone so the fingerprint scanner is very good. I did not found any issues regarding finger print scanner.
( 3) it also has IR BLASTER you can also use as remote for tv etc. and it can replace the remote and I also tried third party remote app which is known as peel which worked fine
( 4) In terms of general performance it is very good.it runs on miui 8. Ram management is descent. In general day to day usage it performed well. It is lag free exorience apart from chrome browser when I am moving from one tab to another I feel little lag.general peeformance is very good.
( 5) Gaming performance on this device was suprisingly very good. Now if you talk about gaming performance its great it plays all the heavy games. In terms of heating it does not heat. In terms of gaming I have to say one of the best smartphone in this budget cateogry.
( 6) Let me talk about auto brightness sensor it has all the sensors even the auto brightness sensor and I have to say autobrightness sensor is good on this device it worked fine.
( 7) In terms of cellular quality- cellular quality was good.
I am really really happy from xiaomi I have to say it is one of rare budget oriented devices xiaomi did not skimp on any sensor as it has xyroscope compass etc. Also it has FM radio in terms of sensor it was very good.Regarding to Bluetooth Bluetooth Bluetooth reception is excellent on this device. I used with Many devices like Boss Bluetooth headphone it work great.
( 8) in terms of camera rear facing camera is very good I would say in outdoor lightning conditions it take preety good shots even in artificial lighting conditions it does short of decent job.In Low light condition it tends to struggle. But when we compare other smartphone in this price range camera is much better to the other devices. When lightning is good it performs very well but when in artificial light conditions we have to be careful otherwise picture came sort or blurry. But still considering the price point of this device I would say rear camera is suprisingly good better than the competition.
Cons -
( 1) Build quality is good. it is very slippery. if you you are not careful it tens to be sleep from your hands.
( 2) it has 4100 MAH battery. The device tends to be heavier side on 5 inch screen
( 3) one I do not like is volume from a speaker it is very low it is situated on the back side.
( 4) Regarding the sound output from headphone jack is good but amplification is not good
This was the cons I did not like on this smartphone xiaomi redmi 3s prime but considering the price range performs very well.it doesnot skimp the sensors . I have to say one of the best budget oriented compact smartphone in india at price RS 8999. Thank you if you like please follow me and like this review.
