I have been using redmi 3s prime for 7 months but recently by mistake I broke its screen instead of fixing the screen I decided to buy redmi 4 thought it would be great to upgrade but my decision proved to be wrong.
Redmi 4 comes with 5 inch full hd screen , don’t knoe whether there is any protection given on the screen as company didn’t give any details regarding protection on screen. The phone has snapdragon 435 processor which is latest chip from snapdragon and it comes with 3 variants 2/3/4 gb ram . I have a 3gb ram variant. The phone works good but the predecessor i.e 3s works far better than this. Variety of colors in notification light is also eliminated. Camera performance is decent same as 3s.
But I am really disappointed with xiaomi that again it didn’t give any protection on screen. Due to poor build quality my 3s screen got broken. And the battery backup is also less than 3s therefore I suggest you to go for 3s prime as it has better performance and better battery backup. Yes the bulid quality is poor in both the phones but in comparison 3s prime has advantage over redmi 4.
