Well.The chinese mobile giants are once again back with another budget smartphone-The Redmi 4a at a price of 5999 inr. The handset is light , built of polycarbonate plastic with matte finish which gives a mettalic look
DISPLAY-This device has a 5 inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 16 M colors.The resolution is 720 into 1280 with multi touch.The brightness can be adjusted accordingly as in all other smartphones and also has certain modes like one for reading.
BATTERY-This device has a li-ion 3120 mah non-removable battery which can last a week on standby and at normal day to day usage it can last for a whole day quiet easily and efficiently
PLATFORM-The handset is equipped with Android OS 6.1( Marshmellow) .It runs on Xiami’s latest software MI UI 8.
The chipset in this phone is the Qualcomm MSM8917 Snapdragon 425 which fares well with its price and the CPU is 1.4 GHz Quad-Core and the GPU is Adreno 308.The device is not recommended for heavy gamers as it starts droping frames in a few big games but for light games it goes well.
MEMORY-Xiaomi has provided a micro SD card slot which can be used to put a maximum of 256 GB SD card.But the con here is that the SD card slot is not a dedicated one but it fits in the slot where SIM 2 is present.

This device also comes with an IR blaster which even many high budget phones dont have.
In the conclusion I would say that the phone is quiet well but if Xiaomi had brought it at a little less price ( say 4999) then it would have been a punch above their weight.
