Hello guys, so today I am going to review the xiaomi redmi 5 16GB variant which is available in India at 7999 rupees.Firstly as soon as you hold the device it feels solid and rugged. Talking about the physical overview comma it has a IR blaster and headphone jack at the top of it, down below is the speaker grill the microphone grill and the micro USB charging port, on the left side it has the hybrid sim tray and on the right it has a volume rockers and the power on off button and that’s about the physical overview.It’s been two months I’m using this device and I’m pretty happy with the performance of the phone. Talking about the fingerprint sensor it is very accurate and works seamlessly. The screen is of 5.7 inches and pdoes feel wide and large due to the 18: 9 aspect ratio and the contrast ratio is also good although the viewing angles are not that so great.Talking about the camera, it has a 12 megapixel rear facing camera and 5 megapixel front Shooter both the camera are equipped with flash. They perform quite well in outdoor lighting condition but struggle in Indoor and night conditions.Talking about the performance of the phone, it has snapdragon 450 soc which is a octacore cpu and if you are a light and regular user then this is the phone for you. It is equipped with 3300 mAh battery and goes all day long in regular usage but if you are a sort of a heavy user then this phone will lag sometimes while playing heavy app and games.The sound reception in this is very good and the speaker also perform quite well. The operating system which is provided by xiaomi which is MIUI 9 is user friendly and offers a very good experience the style and design of this phone is not that great. The phone offers a lot of Mi apps which is pre installed and can become handy in some situations the look and feel of the phone is okay-ish. If you are under 8000 budget range then you should definitely consider this device as it provides best value for money features style and performance.Thank you.
